2022 – 2024 | It Will Come
A Journey into Play and Discovery
In 2022, I immersed myself in creating the series It Will Come. This body of work is rooted in a simple yet powerful challenge I set for myself: to observe the natural world—pomegranates, pine bark, chestnuts, moss—and use these moments of direct observation as a springboard for play. My goal was not to predetermine the outcome, but to experiment freely, letting curiosity and exploration guide me.

With each piece, I asked myself, “What if…?” and gave space to surprises. I worked with an array of materials and techniques, blending controlled elements with unpredictable, spontaneous ones. This contrast became a central theme throughout the series. For me, it reflects the essence of life itself: a delicate balance between the plans we make and the unforeseen events that shape us.
By embracing the unexpected, I’ve deepened my connection to my creative voice—my Muse. This Muse thrives on curiosity, invites risk, and finds beauty in the unplanned. Through this series, I’ve learned to listen more closely to her whisper, letting her guide me toward work that surprises, moves, and even teaches me.
The series comprises 94 completed works alongside pages from my sketchbooks, each piece a testament to the process of discovery. Some works resonate with joy, others with quiet reflection, and all carry the traces of the journey: the interplay of control and chaos, intention and accident.

My hope is that It Will Come invites you to reconnect with your own sense of play and wonder. Perhaps these works will spark a memory or a feeling—a reminder that even in life’s unplanned moments, there is beauty and meaning to be found. After all, it is often in the unexpected that we discover something truly profound.
